Haunting on Palouse

Casey & I went to Haunted Palouse in Pullman this past weekend
With Beth & Ethan.
It was not impressive as the first year I went.
Here are a few pictures from the first year...

This year there were no people in line
No scary beings walking around
Overall it was short and not fun
Here is the one picture haha.

However, I did go hiking
Hiked up the tallest hill in the Pullman area
It was windy and a tad cloudy
But it was beautiful!
 Then I got sick :[
But that's ok!

Pumpkin Carving 2012

After picking pumpkins at Green Bluff
We carved then a week later
You will not see any end pictures of my pumpkin because it was horrible!
Casey had to use his steak knife as usual
I, however, "donned person protective equipment" like a good surgeon
Just being goofy

I may be an evil scientist ...
 THE GUTS

We bought a deluxe carving spoon at ShopKo...
most definitely worth it!

Casey did mickey mouse!
It turned out really good!!

My pumpkin was a fail because I chose a super hard design!
That is what I attempted
The eyes were just too hard

However, Amanda and I carved pumpkins after studying
I chose a much easier design!
I did the nightmare before christmas jack o' lantern
Amanda did a classy Cougar symbol!
Go Cougs!

Overall, pumpkin carving was not my thing this year hahaha.
But it was still fun.

We wants it, we needs it.
Must have the precious.
They stole it from us.
Sneaky little hobbitses.
Wicked, tricksy, false!

October Festivities Begin

First: Two Year Anniversary!
Here is a picture of the two of us when we first met;
Crazy, we look so different.
In 2013 we will both be graduating college!
Life is flying by.

I get a different color rose every year :]
White and purple are so pretty!
My favorite color combo so far!

 {Casey took the pictures of the flowers}
 My beautiful anniversary present :]
The ring is super pretty
10K gold diamond heart ring
I love it.

NOW: The first weekend of October activities!
Corn Maze and Pumpkin Patch Picking!
We got cool beans coffee and then were off :]
I got a white chocolate latte
& Casey got a red bull Italian soda with blue raspberry flavoring
{It was pretty good!}

We stopped by Cabella's too of course haha!
I love that place!
It is like a museum!
It is 15acres and 15 checkpoints are hidden within the corn maze
It was three separate mazes that you had to accomplish
Each checkpoint has a hole punch to hole punch your side of your map
{hole punches not shown in the pictures}
It took us about 3 hours to finished the whole thing
We decided to not use the map...
That lasted until one hour into the last maze (green one)
It was pretty difficult!
Great maze!

It was much hotter than we thought
When we were leaving my apartment we thought about grabbing gloves..
Then in the maze we took off ours jackets and were sweating
It was a beautiful day!
Overall, very successful!
Then, we went to pick our pumpkins in Green Bluff!
My big pumpkin {on the right} is called headless George
Because Casey accidentally broke his stem off when we got home :[

Kettle corn too :] YUM!
Overall, October has been very promising!
Coming up: Amanda's Halloween pumpkin carving and party, costumes, etc!
