Rocchi {clan BAD} was on the nice list this year..

Christmas Eve the three of us girls open the presents we got each other; like always
Highlights of that opening sesh:
Beth got a "creepy" sock monkey {from me} and apparently it is possessed lolz
I got a infinity scarf from Beth and of course pretended to be...
Achmed the dead terrorist, from Jeff Dunham
Singing Jingle Bombs.
If you have seen me do this impression please do not tell anyone else.
It is quite embarrassing..

That brings us to Christmas:
We were woken up by Papa Rocchi, summoned to make breakfast
Or as Beth would say "slave work"
Also, we watched old home videos from 1995.
Walking down memory lane was very touching and funny.
In a lot of the Christmas pictures you will see the tape playing in the background
After breakfast and watching videos for a while, the present opening began...

Let us begin with a before and after:

Angela thought she was getting a Mini Cooper for Christmas, haha!
She is dreaming: papa said "you'll be disappointed"
BUT...
I doubt getting a kindle FIRE and a regular kindle is disappointing..
To her dismay she will have to give up the regular kindle to Beth
(then well see a happy picture of Beth)
She was ecstatic! She will get another present later on this post..

Beth however was not impressive with her first gift: a car filter!
HAHA
Clearly she did not want necessities for the future but shinny princess things
My mom can finally give up her "HOBO hat" haha!
Thank goodness-kudos Beth
Then a cute frame from me :]
Then I ripped open all 5 million of my presents!

What girl doesn't want a DeWalt 18V battery powered drill!
My father got the coolest gift of all!
A yoda mug that says "may the force be with you" on the back!
He is more excited on the inside I promise!
A girl can never get enough diamonds; if anyone knows that it's Kandice Rocchi!
She knows that gold wrapping in there
He went to Jared..

The Journey elegant collection! The meaning is far more special than the diamonds
But who can complain about the diamonds on that bad boy!
Not one trip to Jared but two!
Angela got the Pandora beads bracelet! The start of her story.

All of these awesome gifts are thanks to the King of this house on 245th Way SE!
The man who makes everything perfect--with style!
Dominic N. Rocchi is our hero & the perfect Santa Clause!
After dinner the Gingerbread house decorating began.
These Carmel Hersey kisses were too good to put on the house
But the were nice appetizers!

 Getting everything all ready
 Let the decorating begin!
Angela hard at work! she always gets stuck with the two small sides :[

Silly one she is; but still beautiful!
We three are the odds and ends but perfectly made
Haha, good thing Beth never reads my blog or she would kill me :]!
I love this picture
 <3
 Just being crazy! Sugar high?

The perfect mother; I am a lucky one!
 My creation

Beth finally got her princess gift.
She got Angela's kindle.
She traded it for Dunkaroos--haha!
Crazy girls.

After all the decorating was done; we sat down for a good ole game of Pictionary.

No one plays Pictionary like the Rocchi girls!
Lets just say it got aggressive as usual:
From eating the other teams board piece to funny quotes and drawings

Oh, & I canNOT forget to announce the champions of this years Pictionary..
BETH & DANIELLE
{I know; no surprise there}

Memories were made today, and Christmas 2011 will not be forgotten.
It will happen all over next year but with new things to laugh about.

The day was full of laughter, love, and of course mommy's tears of joy.
The Rocchi family knows how to celebrate Christmas.
The Perfect Day.

Zoo Lights!

Thursday night after work I headed over to the Faverty's
First, I opened my fabulous present!! I got a rice cooker!
Then, we got all bundled up to go to Zoo Lights at point defiance zoo

The highlight of the zoo was not the lights but the aquarium
No surprise there;
Casey and I might be obsessed with fish--esp SHARKS
{weird looking fish}
{baby mini seahorse-half the size of my pinky}
{big seahorse}
After the Zoo lights we headed off to Red Robin, which is always delicious!
The Faverty's and I had a blast !
Can't wait for Christmas!

Elf Danielle

Busy Busy Busy Elf I have been,
This week I have been working at my new position at the YMCA..
Here is the name tag: I wear it proudly

My "horrible boss" is quite the lazy one, even he will admit it..
I think that is the reason I got promoted in the first place

I have spent the last three days:
Organizing his file cabinets that are a mess, doing paperwork he doesn't want to do, color coordinating everything, making copies, organizing papers that are from 2005 all the way up till yesterday (by month/year/last name/importance), and more!

He has given me permission to make fun of him a little bit on this blog.
Even though I refuse to give him my blog site.
If you haven't seen the movie "horrible bosses" you wont know what I'm talking about
& if you haven't seen the movie, you need to.
Warning, it is crude and sexually humorous.

Work goes by quickly, due to all the work I have
My boss reminds me every time I get a new task:
"You are getting paid for this"
...
My response "you couldn't pay me enough"

However, if that were true I wouldn't be doing it. & I do enjoy my job.

Other than work, life as been quite slow and relaxing:
Daily Television watching with my father, and who ever else decides to join.
The usual shows are..
Bones is my favorite: partially because that's what my father calls me "bones"

Another 'must see movie' that I have already seen twice in theaters is..
The first one is one of my favorite movies. & the second one did not disappoint!

Also, my superwoman mother is juggling work, emotions, and making me a delicious dinner every night
I would like to take a moment to thank my mother:

To be a mother is not an easy task,
yet you do it proudly everyday no matter what is asked.
You have turned your baby into a beautiful young lady.
You were there for me since the very beginning and saved me countless tears.
The pushy and wise advice you gave will carry me through the years.
With my every mistake or wrongful deed,
you were always there to understand.
You put no limits on my dreams or anything else I wish to do.
You never forget to say you care or that you love me to.
The smile and tears upon your face when I achieve
provides me with more value in my heart then you’d ever believe.
I know that my teen years have driven you crazy
but you have guided me with assurance along the way.
You have given me comfort and certainty with every breath I take within the day.
Your little girl is growing up but your baby girl will always remain deep inside me.
-Champagne S. Baker

& to my two lovely sisters:
We are three sisters
Three sisters are we
I love each of you,
And I know you love me

We’re not always together,
Life sometimes keeps us apart.
But we're never separated
We’re in each other's heart.

Now I know we've had our troubles,
But we always get thru.
The real message is you love me,
And I also love you.

We have had lots of good times
That we'll never forget
Sometimes we worry
And sometimes we fret

But if God ever gave me
Something special you see,
It might have been the blessing of,
Three sisters are we.

The Lord above has gave me lots
Of happiness and glee
But the most special thing he did was
Make us sisters, all three.
 -Francis I. Gillespie

I wish I had more time in everyday to thank those who make me strong
Others I would like to thank:
  • Casey Faverty: for the obvious reasons (he is awesome)
  • Mom Mom Rocchi: for being the sweetest lady I have ever met; truly a saint
  • & my GODFATHER..
My Uncle Michael has supported me through all my endeavors
& I wish I could thank him more.
Us middle kids gotta stick together (he is a brother of 7 other siblings: middle child?)
Gotta love him :]!

Lastly, tomorrow after work I am going to Zoo Lights with the lovely Faverty family!
Pictures will come tomorrow or Friday :]!

My typical flash back post:
this is a letter I wrote to myself in the 3rd grade..
It got to me my sophomore year of college..

Sorry this blog post is so long.
Gotta tell someone what is going on in this mind of mine..

It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas..

This Christmas break hasn't really consisted of much.. yet.
Saturday I unpacked my life, as I already said.
Sunday Angela, my father, and I went Christmas shopping for my mommy.
My mom decorated the house before I got home from college.
Then Beth made gingerbread cookies.

The few days I have been home, my dad has been picking things around the house that I can take with me.
This next picture is of my living room..
My mom said my dad needs to take a interior designing class..
However, there is a story behind this.
The blue couch is the couch that will be moving to Spokane with me
So my dad conveniently moved it into the living room.
I think it looks good, haha.

I will be working the rest of the week so I don't know how much I will be blogging
But come Sunday their will be lots to talk about!
