Camp Stix

To start off I am sorry I have been so behind on my blogging
I have been busy busy busy
Back up all the way to July !

To start my long train of blogging:
CAMP STIX
I was at Camp Stix for diabetic children volunteering as medical staff
It was a BLAST
It was themed mysteries unknown
SO: Gnomes, Wizards, Magic, Chuck Norris, etc.
Embracing my inner child.
I was working most of the time so not many pictures...
{I will get more pictures once the photographer gets them to me
& I will probably do another blog}
 Hanging with my Gnomies
 Galaxy pants for UFO day

At camp all of the medical staff and support staff get "camp names"
Mine was: Duchess
It fits :}
We loved dressing up for every meal!
Playing on the water toys were a BLAST!

 This slide was the BEST!!!

Climbing the igloo was harder than I thought
 I was being laughed at
Because apparently I look the a Velociraptor when I am getting into the water.
It was COLD!

 Doing limbo at the dance!

 Me getting "blobbed"
This was extremely painful and not fun haha
There is a video on facebook but not on this blog.
  Me & YoYo
Champion!

Sliding down after I climbed all the way to the top
Overall, it was an amazing time & I cannot wait to go back next year!

out in the backwoods

This past weekend Casey & I went out to Amanda's parents house
They own 18 acres up north of Spokane
It was b-e-a-utiful!
We rode dirt bikes, tanned, saw wild deer and turkeys, and lots more.
We just had a good time out in the wild.

Amanda & Todd hard at work, while we play

I finally blew up that pool of mine Casey got me for my birthday 2 years ago.

The next two pictures are from fishing.
We have been exploring Spokane area for good fishing sites
Nothing too amazing yet :[

And this is the only picture from the 4th of July.
The 4th is one of my favorite holidays
However, this year was quite different
We did not have any distinctive plans
So we went downtown to watch the fireworks
However, we arrived three hours early to get a killer spot
That "killer spot" was a terrible choice
Once the fireworks started we could not even see them
We watched them as we walked back to the car.

Do not follow where the path may lead. Go instead where there is no path and leave a trail

Envisage

A canvas lie in front of thee
Empty and pure it troubles me
From corner to corner I stare
I want to start, but where

What to do with a clean slate
Only I control its' fate
So much thought and vision
How can anyone make this decision

Starting without a clear end
Suspenseful and scary I apprehend
The best is created by skillful hands
Not always having definite plans

Sometimes colors are not what you expect
But that does not make it incorrect
Challenges come up once in a while
But that is what makes us versatile

Parents create art every day
Kneed and work their piece of clay
Three masterpieces have been designed
By two hands intertwined

So much work and dedication
Proud, I am one creation
Three pieces of art complete
There is not one thing I would delete

Dedicated to my mommy & daddy
Happy Mother's & Father's Day!
